The pink gem of youthful spring

I have been planning my visit to Zilker botanical garden for a long time. And I was lucky enough this weekend to visit here. I was amazed to be surrounded by lush green beauty around. ZBG is a huge garden with a wide variety of plants, shrubs, flowers and trees. I could not cover the entire park as I was tired exploring nearby places throughout the day.  While I took many shots this one is my favorite with a pink water-lily. I like its circular leaves and a delicate lily standing out as if it’s saying: “I am proud pink beauty today”.

  1. This is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! The green and pink compliment each other wonderfully!

  2. Love the pattern the leaves make!
